YOUR BLIND DATEA collection of wrapped books will be waiting for you at The Vale. Each one will have a few clues on the outside-a hint at the genre, mood, or story inside-but the title and cover stay a mystery.
Browse the collection, follow your instincts, and choose the one that feels like yours. Once you’ve chosen, unwrap it, find your picnic spot, and meet your blind date.
The book is yours to keep.

Sunday, August 30 from 4:00-6:30 PM at The Vale in Waymart, Pennsylvania. Exact directions, parking information, and arrival details will be sent to registered guests before the gathering.

Just yourself. Your mystery book, picnic box, something sweet, and drinks are all included. If you have a favorite pair of sunglasses or anything else that makes an afternoon outside more comfortable, feel free to bring it along.

Come comfortable and ready to spend the afternoon outdoors. The Vale includes grass, woodland paths, and natural uneven terrain, so comfortable shoes are strongly encourages.

This gathering has a rain date of Sunday, September 6. If weather makes August 30 uncomfortable or unsafe, registered guests will be contacted directly with updated plans.
